Basic Requirements For Applicants You must satisfy all of these simple criteria in order to apply: You are currently enrolled in a four-year college or university in the United States. You have completed at least your first year and will have sophomore standing at your institution when you come to Fermilab. We rarely accept students who graduate in May, just before they would come to Fermilab. You are a United States citizens or are a foreign national with proper work visas. You have a solid academic record (we look for "B's" or better) You have good recommendations from two or more scientific staff. We get many, many highly qualified applicants each year. So, in comparing otherwise equal canidates, we will select the canididates who are US Citizens or who still have one or two years left in college.
